General Terms & Conditions

General Policy

  • Guests must be at least 18 years old and present a valid credit card at check-in.
  • Valid photo identification is required for everyone over 21 years old at check-in.
  • The hotel reserves the right to address any inappropriate behavior by guests.
  • Policy details may vary depending on the time of year.
  • Guests will be held responsible for any damage to hotel property.
  • Certain policies may apply specifically to particular bookings.
  • The Total Tariff reflects approximate prices for nearby rooms and may not accurately represent this hotel's rates.

Children Policy

  • Children under 15 stay free without an extra mattress; breakfast charges may apply.
  • Complimentary crib for the first child, second child $20+6% Tax per stay.

Rollaway Bed

  • $25+8.75% TAX per night.

Pet Policy

  • Pets up to 25 pounds allowed, $50 flat fee (non-refundable) + $25 per day.

Business Center & Fitness Center Policy

  • 24-hour access for guests.

Smoking Policy

  • No Smoking in rooms; $250 penalty for in-house smoking.

Parking Policy

  • Parking is available across the street for $45+ Tax per night.

Booking Extension Policy

  • Extension is subject to current rates and availability.

City & State Tax Per Booking

  • State Sales Tax: 8.875%
  • City Occupancy Tax: 5.875%
  • City Unit Fee: $3.50
  • City Hotel Fee: $15.00 + 8.875% sales tax ($16.31 total) per night per room.

Cancellation Policy

  • Standard Cancellation: Free up to 24 hours before check-in, else one night's charge.
  • Advance Purchase/Promotional/Non-Refundable Rates: Full booking amount charged.
  • Group/FIT Cancellation: Free up to 72 hours before check-in, else one night's charge.
  • For bookings up to 5 rooms: Free up to 24 hours before check-in, else one night's charge.
  • No-show or post-check-in cancellation: First night or full booking amount for non-refundable rates.

How to Cancel

  • Cancel via our website chat or call 1-212-600-2441. Refunds are processed within 7-14 working days.

Payment Policy for Bookings of 5 or More Rooms

  • 25% advance payment required.
  • Guest names are needed 15 days in advance.

Cancellation Fee for Group Bookings

  • 60 days prior: 10% of total room nights plus taxes.
  • 15 to 30 days prior: 50% advance amount.
  • Less than 15 days: 100% advance amount

Early Check-In and Late Check-Out Policies

Early Check-In (Subject to Availability):

  • Before 6am: 100% of one day's charges as per the previous day's room rates.
  • 6am onwards: 30% charges as per the previous day's room rates, depending on hotel policy.
  • Between 2am and 3pm: Complimentary.
  • Note: Breakfast charges are not included in the early check-in fees.

Late Check-Out (Subject to Availability):

  • Between 11am and 12pm: Complimentary.
  • Between 12pm and 6pm: 50% charges as per the next day's room rates, depending on hotel policy.
  • After 6pm: 100% charges as per the next day's room rates.

Restaurant Policy: Gastro at 35 Bar & Restaurant

  • Open daily from 7am to 11pm for Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner.

Breakfast Prices

  • Bar Rates: $15.75 + tax for Full American Breakfast, $12.95 + tax for Continental Breakfast. Children aged 5 to 12 years: $9.00 (inclusive of taxes). Children 5 years and under eat free.
  • FIT Rates: $18.95 for Full American Breakfast, $15.95 for Continental Breakfast (inclusive of taxes). Children aged 5 to 12 years: $9.00 (inclusive of taxes). Children 5 years and under eat free.
  • Group Rates: $18.95 for Full American Breakfast, $15.95 for Continental Breakfast (inclusive of taxes). Children aged 5 to 12 years: $9.00 (inclusive of taxes). Children 5 years and under eat free.
